I ended up with doubles during my ebay binge, so I’m putting two up for sale/trade that didn’t come from forum members. 🙂 I would be happy to sell them as a pair, or I can split them.
They are a little banged up. The male has more green on him than my other peacock male, and he’s quite vibrant. He has a few tiny chips over one eye, and some scuffs on a few scales. His gold is rubbed off in many small spots, but the main damage is in one of his tail scales. He is still beautiful, but not at all mint. Gently used, is how I would describe him. I paid $41 for him.
Rubbing on one of his wings.
Hard to see, but a spot on one of his scales.
Chips above one eye.The mother is a little beat up as well. She has a few small chips out of her wings and tail scales, and the paint has rubbed off a bit on her back leg and the ‘back’ side of her neck. Her main damage is in one of her neck scales, which apparently broke off and then was glued back on again. It was a rough glue job, and there is lots of white showing. The gold detailing has rubbed off in a few spots as well. I paid $53 for her.
Chips on the wings.
The neck scale damage.
Different angle.
Different angle.I am interested in cash and trades, and any combination of the two. My collection is small, so odds are if you have something to offer, I don’t have it. 🙂 I will look at and consider all offers before choosing the one I like best. It might not be the most expensive one!
I can take more pictures on request, if you’d like to see more angles of these two. I pack very well and will double box. If you buy both of them I’ll pack in two different boxes. They came to me in one box and it made me very nervous unwrapping them. Shipping will be about $20 each, and I’ll ship FedEx Ground, insured.
Thank you! Please PM with offers. I’ll have them up here until they sell, because I’m not interested in doing the ebay thing right now.

If you’re interested, make me an offer. I won’t be insulted. 🙂Thanks!
March 13, 2008 at 10:40 pm #674078Alright, since I haven’t gotten any offers I’ve decided to do something better with them. I teach middle school, and have two students who /love/ dragons (they had a heart attack when I brought in a Windstone to show them). They’re very sweet boys who have various things going on in their lives, so I’ve decided to give each of them one of these peacocks.
So, these are no longer up for sale or trade! Thanks!
March 13, 2008 at 10:42 pm #674079Sorry you couldn’t sell them, but it almost seems better this way. 😀 You made 2 little boys very happy! You are a saint. 😀
March 14, 2008 at 12:45 am #674080Good for you! You most probably created two future Windstone collectors! What goes around comes around in positive ways, maybe they can join the forum too!
March 14, 2008 at 2:03 am #674081I agree, you are creating new Windstone addicts! Hehehe! Good for you!
March 14, 2008 at 2:05 am #674082March 14, 2008 at 5:05 am #674083Though their parents aren’t going to be too happy when they find out how many more dragon sculpts there are to collect. 😆
March 14, 2008 at 6:35 am #674084That’s sweet of you, Stephanie. I’m glad you found them good homes.
March 14, 2008 at 2:41 pm #674085That is such an awesome thing to do! Those boys will never forget the kindness you showed them. 😀
March 14, 2008 at 6:56 pm #674086That was a wonderful thing to do!
March 25, 2008 at 3:40 pm #674087Awwww. I brought the male dragon to school today to give to that student, and he arrived with a ‘trade’ for me. It’s a little clay platform with my name carved into it. “I think it’ll be good for a hatchling to sit on,” he told me.
And yesterday, I finally got a chance to offer the mother to the other student (he was out sick for weeks). You should have seen his expression. He was so excited!
That just made my day. 🙂March 25, 2008 at 4:03 pm #674088I think that is so awesome and generous of you! You rock!
March 25, 2008 at 4:29 pm #674089That was very cool of you! Doesn’t it just make you feel great?
