I use paint brushes. I am a complete clutz so I probably want to stay as far away from an airbrush as possible 😳

In the past, I used more airbrush (my first…4? PYOs were all airbrushed, with light brush work)… that was when I just started. I used more airbrush than brush. But, airbrushes are such a PAIN to clean and maintain, so I’ve been using only brushes now. I think using all brushes is just easier. And a lot less clean up… and that’s what I like! 🙂

so I traded it to dragonessjade… have no clue how she’s getting along with it..

so now I just use brush… or whatever else I find available..

        hehe

        Such as??? 😯

Do you really wanna know? 😆

I use paint brushes, personally. Never tried an airbrush. Maybe one day.

I use both, but the airbrush is only for a basecoat. The rest is all little brushes. 🙂

While I had the kit out, I tried doing a base coat color on the chipped griff, since he’s now my official guinea pig. I think I may use the airbrush to do base coat and color blocking, and will probably stick to brushes for the more detailed work. The kit I have is really an economy model, with very little by way of adjustments, so no real fine control on the nozzle. I can’t justify spending on a “real” airbrush and compressor right now. 🙄 ….as much as I would really LIKE to….

Q-tips and toothpicks work wonders sometimes, they just don’t make brushes small enough 🙂

But I tend to find that the cheap brands of Q-tips leave fuzz everywhere… 😕

I know they do sell micro brushes. I got mine at Lee Valley Tools.
They are even tinyer then Q-tips and don’t leave lint behind 😀

Lee Valley eh? That’s not too far, maybe I’ll look into it. Are they reusable? If not then I’ll still go for Q-tip brand Q-tips. They aren’t bad and are decent for blending and that.

If you are careful cleaning them yes they can be reused.

The cat when he can catch it… JUST KIDDING! lol

I know that I pull cat hairs and fuzz out of my brushes all the time… 😆

those tiny brushes are cool but I’ve not seen anything like them here..

and yes… I’ve had to pull cat hair off of stuff before too…

                    blah…

                    #723474

There isn’t a square inch in this house that *hasn’t* got at least 1 pet hair in it. With the 4 remaining cats and the walking furball we call a Great Pyrenees dog? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA… 😆 …sorry…I’m better now…*snork*…….hehehehe…….Seriously, fur finds it’s way into my closed closets and rooms. I swear it materializes outta thin air some days. I think I spend as much time pulling fur outta my brushes and off of whatever I’m painting than I do PAINTING it…..*sigh*
