So this is just a question, but has anyone ever considered or tried using like Rona paint or paint from some other hardware store?? you know the stuff in the can… you can get white, black, red, yellow, and blue and mix your own colours… I used to do it with canvas paintings because it was a lot cheaper then paint from an art store…
I suspect you’d want to thin it a little, it’s awfully thick, and thick paint covers up some of the wonderful detail of PYOs. But it’s acrylic too, so I can’t think of any other reason not to use it.
Isn’t it latex? I’m not sure if these paints “breath”, though (aside from the thickness).
