Pack well PLEASE…

:hi: I know all of us try to inform folks to pack Windstones with great care,to double box,bubble wrap,etc. WHY do people not listen? I was lucky to have won a fine emperor on ebay and it arrived in pieces.Even after it was requested to double box,etc.This is so sad for all that lose one due to carelessness. 🙁 Please pack well for all and let’s try to stress the importance of this to sellers. 🙂

I pass that along every time. I think I might contact SPark and see if she wouldn’t mind posting that packing tutorial on ebay as well.

Unfortunately, there are some people who think they’re the ‘experts’ when it comes to packing! They just won’t listen and when the item arrives broken, they can’t understand why–‘this never happened before and I’ve sent statues all over the country’. Yeah, right!!! Don’t they get it that we’re paying for the shipping and if costs a little more to double box, we’re more than willing to pay it?! If I send anything fragile–I double box! It’s the way to go and if it is damaged, then the shipping company knows it was packed well and will honor the insurance claim!

Well I talked to SPark and she has no problem with it, but she reminded me that she wasn’t the one to originally write the packing tutorial, she just offered a place to host it (other than the WE forum). Now I’m wanting to find the original packing tutorial thread so I can double check with the writer/writers (not that I think anyone will mind).

Anyone care to help me find the thread?

You’re welcome! Since I didn’t write it originally it didn’t seem right for me to post it without asking for permission first. I didn’t think you would mind, but I’d rather ask first to be sure.
