Out of town and out of my mind

I’m out of town at my parents for the next couple of weeks. My mother is going into surgery the day after tomorrow, yes thanks for the early warning mom. Of course I got the “I didn’t want you to worry” speech.

I can only check in on a public computer at the library so don’t get upset if I disappear for a few days. I’ll check in when I can.

Best wishes for your mom! I know how you feel. My mom calls to chat and says, oh yea, I was in the hospital, but I didn’t want you to worry. So when I don’t hear from her, I wonder if something is happening that I don’t know about.
