I like most spiders, exception are Black Widows, Hobos, and Brown Recluse, jumping spiders are the coolest. We have neat ones here with fuzzy black fur and red markings, so cute.

Sounds like the one you met with the big web was an orb spider, those are so cool. I like how strong their webs are, you can walk into it and back up and not break it to pieces. Nice big spiders too, easy to see and look at.

We used to have an annual migration of tarantula’s when I lived in Calif., my stupid dog would go bonkers in a frenzied storm of barking when one was walking across the yard. I’d go out, find the spider , pick him up and move him to the other side of the yard so he could continue on his way unmolested by the idiot dog.

I also like snakes, lizards, turtles, fish, various insects, except earwigs, I hate those. Though I admit, I am not too wild about rattlesnakes…met a few, luckily it missed it’s strike, but still, definately don’t like them.

I want a pet preying mantis.

Wellll… there was one cool type of spider in Valleyview, they lived in our basement. Jewel spiders. Man those things loved living in buckets for some reason.

Snakes are really cool but I’m afraid I will get a big one and that it will try to eat Kimi. Or that it will be really small and Kimi will try to eat it. 😯

they were selling preying mantis at the garden store… 400 eggs… was thinking about buying it… cause they eat spiders…

and then there was the 2000 lady bugs… cause they eat those tiny yucky bugs off of plants…

but lady bugs and preying mantis are about the only bugs I like..
