Oooo! I forgot about those
.
May 13, 2010 at 5:08 pm #813447You can also paint Breyer horse models. These PYOs also have quite the market of collectors!
May 13, 2010 at 5:51 pm #813448Here are a few other options you guys.
Akeyla: http://akeyla.deviantart.com/art/inside-view-flyer-140657551
She is in the Europe region. I have one of her little griffins she painted, and am supposed to be recieving some other, painted and unpainted pieces….at some point. I really like her sculpting.SouldofWinter and ShadowWolf have a lynx and otter in resin: http://soulofwinter.deviantart.com/art/The-Ember-Dancer-150967583
FritoFrito giant dragon bust. Expensive, but eventualy I am getting one to paint! http://fritofrito.deviantart.com/art/Dragon-Bust-110181605Indigo-Ocean laying down dragon with wings or without! you choose! This one seems pretty cool as well:

Since our discussion here is not about Windstone pyo’s, I’m not sure how well it fits here under the Windstone PYO thread.May 13, 2010 at 8:07 pm #813450fabulous suggestions koishii! that lynx really has my attention..
May 13, 2010 at 8:09 pm #813451I agree, those are all awesome Koishii!

I saw this series of ceramic dragons (Life of a Dragon) on eBay and they look like they’re nicer than a lot of ceramic dragons- I wouldn’t mind seeing them and trying a few. Too bad only this 1 guy seems to have them and he’s on the opposite side of the country- shipping is as much as the statue for me. I wouldn’t mind having some cheapy ceramics to experiment with products/colors on and give my daughter to keep her amused over the summer.
Doesn’t somebody here do ceramics (or a family member does)? Hah you could do a side business keeping us in painting things until PYOs come back.
(I don’t own any sadly, but I remember when Akeyla posted here a lot and she had some awesome things!)June 10, 2010 at 2:47 am #813453those are neat… although i think im spoiled by the quality of windstones.. lol
