Can you email me? nam_art@hotmail.com (My PMs tend to get overrun and out of control since I moderate, hahaha!). I am mostly keen on boulder opal, or opal in matrix… something to make them stronger, since I wire wrap them.

I love this one O_O
How much does something like that go for?
January 1, 2010 at 6:57 am #797192Heh, that particular one is around $1600 due to its size and what not. i have alot more that are between $10 to $1000 i just have to get a macro lense to get pictures of them so i can post them on a web site or something =p. The cost is dependent on the Size/weight and more importantly the colour pattern (this is not a huge factor on price unless it is like harliquen, or chinese writing pattern or sometimes ribbon), play of colour (if it is directional or multidirectional colour), and type of colour (some colours are more rare to find) not to mention if it is a crystal opal, vs white, or boulder or black opal.

WOW! That purty 😉Every act matters. No matter how small💞

Male Hearth....one day🤞Dream on.January 6, 2010 at 2:06 am #797197It’s really cool to see them as “free-form” stones. Seeing them as slabs set in jewelry is nice, and more practical for protecting the stone from damage, but I could play with a free-form piece for hours.
Well, there’s no question about it: I’ll have to get my opal fix from the smaller pieces! 😆
