May 14, 2008 at 9:02 am #694503Hi,
Thanks for all your offers, i will be taking your best offers on the items for one week, after that the highest bidder will be contacted however if you have put in an offer an a number of items then this will be considered. Im sorry but due to the very high demand for postage costs i cannot get back to everyone with an individual quote therefore i ask that you get a quote. Many of the larger items weigh in the region of 5KG with the smaller items around 1KG (not lbs).
This should be for a door to door service from Unit 13b, Eccleshall, ST21 6JL, UK.
Good luck and thanks for looking.May 14, 2008 at 2:00 pm #694504I thought the prices you listed were the selling prices?
May 14, 2008 at 2:17 pm #694505Would you happen to know the link to the UK Post Office, so that I can check the shipping costs… β π
EDIT…I figured it out…Shipping from the UK is quite pricey..WOW π― π

May 14, 2008 at 2:25 pm #694506Also, if there’s a guess as to US shipping costs.. I have no idea how to measure kgs and such I don’t know if we’re talking about $50 a piece for shipping or over $100 or..
May 14, 2008 at 3:32 pm #694507Just done a quote, 1KG (2.2lbs) in a box 15x15x25cm on a 5 day ecconomy/standard service is about $60.
May 14, 2008 at 3:34 pm #694508Hmm most of these weigh a lot more than that though right? Well the bigger pieces anyhow. Are there other services if someone was to buy something heavy like an old warrior that would take longer but cost less? I’m just envisioning like $200+ in shipping for an OW if the $60 is just for 2.2 pounds! π― π
May 14, 2008 at 5:15 pm #694509Do you have pictures of any of these peices? I PMd you about the flion a while back asking for pics. Do you have any yet? π

If you want to see about how much a piece weighs, for shipping, look up the piece here:
http://www.astralcastle.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=AC&Category_Code=4And it will tell you shipping weight on the details page. π

I’ve located 5 boxes of old exhibition stock, many rare pieces im sure. I’ll go through shortly and see what is still mint condition πMay 15, 2008 at 2:37 pm #694514A couple years ago, I got my Maiasaur from Germany. It cost me $40 in shipping, and took about 6 weeks to get here. Yes, it went by boat. I don’t know how much cheaper it could be. Probably not much now if it was $40 then for something small. π
I’d LOVE to have an Armadillo…If you have one, I might sell off my kid for it…You know, pawn him off for yard work, etc. π
π πWow, I just figured out that little over 2 lbs = 1 kilogram π― . So, I guess $100 for a 10lb package isn’t so bad after all… π
Err, I don’t have paypal though… π
May 15, 2008 at 2:41 pm #694515Did this ever go into production??? I have a mint one in white! π Any info would be greatly recieved.
