Kyrin-the lady says she will double box him, but she’s sending him USPS, which worries me. I was planning on sending her the packing tutorial, and again requesting UPS just to be on the safe side. At some point in the future, I need to send you my Peacock Emp that got broken long ago for a make over.

You know, I ask each seller I buy a Windstone from to read that tutorial is possible… and only one has bothered with it…the pieces did arrive ok but the hazard was clear from the packing used..just thinking what could have happened…. 🙄
I didn’t read the auction, so if she doesn’t have the original box, do you have an emperor box? If you do and she doesn’t, maybe it’s worth it to send it to her so she can pack him in it? Anyways, congrats again 🙂
It’s a shame you don’t have an emperor box to send her first to put him in. Congrats on getting him by the way.
My only question is….How many My Little Ponies did you possibly have to allow you to fund that dragon? 😮
Awesome! Would you like to borrow an emperor box for this guy? I have one I’ll lend to you. He’s such a rarity and they break so easily in shipment.

Well I’m bummed. Looking at the history, I was the second hightest bidder. I really wanted this guy. I’m glad he went to a forum member though. Congrats Wolfen! I had emailed the seller about packing and they seemed to understand what he needs in the way of packing. Here’s the response I got from them.
“Hi, I am completely with you on this. Even though he doesn’t have his original box, i will pack it VERY securely with the most care. He will most definately arrive safely in one piece, unless of course, the postal workers decide to use it as a step stool or for a replacement dodgeball.
I have shipped 2 other Emperors before and about 20 or so other windstone castles and statues, all which arrived safe and sound. Also, we’ve been online retailers of collectibles since 1998 and only ship items the same way that we would like to recieve them– with lots of care and love”

but-I do have an emp. box. It just has an Emperor in it and is under neath about 10 other Windstone boxes 😳
I sold about 7-10 of my My Little Ponies (I think). One is a rare, Argentina variant, 2 are in their original packaging, mint, and the rest added up…$8 here and $12 there. 🙂
I did send the seller the packing tutorial, and do feel better after reading her reply to copper.

Wolfen told you how many she sold, but you don’t want to know how many she has. An entire room full, all pink and pastel and sweet and… Well, it blew my mind when I saw it. 😆

They’re scary when you have 500 of them in varying sizes and colors and packagins staring at you when you walk into a room. 😮

Nah.. don’t feel that way… you ended up with a great piece and I know I couldn’t have gone that high for one..so it was lost anyway..heh..it’s eBay and that’s what happens right ? 😉
Besides I have a damaged Oriental I might be able to get..don’t have one of those yet either.. 😀
Everyone be warned though…I will be on the lookout in the future for any more of these yellow-eyed Emps..it has to be the Emp for me.. lol
Don’t feel bad. It went up too high for me and should have. I was in my own dreamworld that I thought no one else would actually see it. It wasn’t a hidden auction, after all. And I shouldn’t be spending that sort of money right now anyway.
So, it’s fine. I’m glad you are so excited to get it. I’m just as excited for you.
