Koishi i tested it out the other day you can get well over 700 pictures on your chip π I have the same one.
I really have no idea what the difference is exaclty. I thought that the 400D was the same as the XTi…that perhaps the 400D stood for a special feature that the XTi has..So I have no idea yet.
When I go to the canon website they only have the XTi and not a seperate camera that says 400D so I think it must stand for a feature on the camera.ok, I just looked it up, there is no difference. In america we call it the XTi but oversees(japan/china) it is known as the 400D.
I saw his other lens but I only had enough money for the camera, so I will be getting a bigger lens later. My sister has a 100 and a 200 lens so I can borrow those, and the 55 lens will be great for windstone photos.
YESH! Awesome! It is so nice that some one else has some of the same products, I am glad the card works so well. Now I am REALLY excited. I just payed for it today and I can’t wait to get it in and use it.
Ooh thanks for looking koishi, i didn’t know they were different names π I’ll have to post a pictures of my set up π
My 2g memory card says about 500 pictures on the highest quality but i took well over 700 like i said.

and here is all my photography stuff, ive got an SLR black and white film camera as well π
July 19, 2007 at 3:32 pm #600809oooooooo!!! I want to take your telephoto lens!!!!! gosh that looks so much fun, eventually I will get one.
there is not too much use for one here in the town though, so I can practice with bugs and stuff doing Macro, but we plan on moving up north into the red wood area and so I will want a telephoto lens for animal and nature. That is at least another year away I think.
you have a great set up! did you get it in a kit? or did you buy a lot of the stuff separately?
July 19, 2007 at 3:49 pm #600810I got my camera with the 2gig chip the 18-55mm Canon Lens the 55-200 Tamron Lens and the bag in a kit together. I brought the tripod later on and then i discovered its a good idea to have a spare battery. That cost Β£45 π But you really could do with one Koishi. I got my tele lens last week from that link i sent you π it came with the bag. I was given a macro Lens from the guy i baby sit for and a convirter.
Oh Koishi another word of advise, buy UV filters for all your lenses and keep them on there all the time π
My Grandad game me his Film SLR with all the extras π Its only been used a few times.
