Does anyone else’s cats go into the bathroom or stairwell or hallway (any place with an echo and good acoustics) and just meow their heads off, enjoying the sound of their own voice for the hell of it? Jester, my huge tuxedo cat has done this all his life and is doing so right now. If I didnt know better, Id think he was locked in a room by accident or otherwise stuck. He really lets it rip and wail. And sometimes being so vain, he enjoys talking to himself in the mirror (and he understands perfectly what mirrors are; he knows it is him in the mirror which is too long to explain how I know this unless you ask). Silly boy. His howling now has Phoenix tearing around the house- which he is also doing partly because it is cooler weather in FL for today and he’s diggin the breezes coming from the windows.
Those are great! What’s that dog doing there? and the explaining cat… I laughed out loud. I sure don’t want to mess with the “no pass” kitty…
