Oh I adore those most recent pics put up! This thread is also such a great pick me up, even when youre not too down.
Well, I said Id finally add some photos of my late calico, Suki. There are some other pix thrown in here of Phoenix as well (2 maybe) and some of Suki with my other cats or my friends. These span all her years since I got her at 1 yr old in 1994. She died on Feb. 23, 2006 and had a long, lush life. But indeed, if you were here, youd have seen it was her time to move on.
So, here we go again- the last LONG group of pix I’ll share with you (unless we go into dogs 😀 ). Hope youll enjoy some of them at least:

YOU GUYS CAN CAPTION THIS ONE. It’s just that she never ever lay on her back before cause she wasnt as trusting as Jester and Phoenix. She had been abused and I saved her from being put down in a shelter

The Siamese on the top of the condo named EcClair was my friends cat (1 of 4 Siameses she had with her). She fell on uncharacteristically hard times and came to live with us for a while. All her cats were females so while Jester treated them as his harem, Suki didnt like other females in her home.

I know, not cats but I just had to!
Notice the back feet of the horse in the first photo are also off the ground as he performs a maneuver called The Courbette (a series of 1-4 hops on his hind quarters while remaining in a rearing position). All maneuvers from these Royal Lipizzaner Stallions were once used in battle.
This is what we all look like at our house due to the really cold, dry weather. Lots of static! Our cats are NOT happy. Their fur looks like they got dragged backwards through a small hole in the fence 😯
