Pretty!! Though I admit when I glanced at the auction I was confused as to why they were selling a rising spectral in brown! The photos make them look a lot alike. I bet this is one you’ve gotta see in person to appreciate it.
Long lost cousins?? 😆
Link to the auction:
LinkI passed right over it when I saw the thumbnail, thinking “Yikes, that’s an expensive brown riser…! Oh, wait..”

Me too XD I saw the thumbnail and went “…$400 for a [i[brown[/i] riser? Why?” So I clicked the link.
Just like the Special black gold mother, this one looks way too much like one that could be bought at a lower price for me to be interested.
He is nice looking though…November 7, 2007 at 7:29 pm #634802Nambroth wrote:Pretty!! Definitely have to see in person…..I saw some of the test paints…and the red is so cool….
although…they have changed from the test paint…unless I was looking at another red and gold one… 😯
November 7, 2007 at 7:46 pm #634803I thought the same thing here?? Why are they selling a brown riser again and why do I care. I can not check e-bay at work but will try to remember to check him out when I get home

That’s what I figured!! I know the Neptune emperor auction photos were terrible and didn’t show his colors well, so I figured this one is probably a lot more amazing in person!

yes…nothing ever compares to seeing them in person…..the gold ones look yucking in photos….but are so very nice in person…
November 7, 2007 at 8:27 pm #634806LOL I thought the exact same thing at first, that it was a brown.
So IS the “fire” color different from the red gold that was on the SK?? I’m so confused…

-J R R TolkienNovember 7, 2007 at 11:13 pm #634807I thought it was brown too, had the highest bid for a few hours. 😀 I think it’s pretty and I would love to see it in person.
