The name of this topic should have been “Don’t Read While Eating!”. 😆

Ya learn something new every day, though….

I like “It’s Me or the Dog” and “Divine Canine”. It’s great to see people getting help instead of giving the dogs up, esp. since they “trained” the dogs to misbehave.

I really like “It’s Me or the Dog.” I find the lady really funny as sometimes I think she dresses like a dominatrix. That’s where I learned to speak to my dog in a lower register and some other things that have made my life easier.

I’m not a real big fan of “Dog Whisperer” though.

You’re right about the dominatrix outfits. lol I’ve never seen the Dog Whisperer. I guess that’s new? I haven’t even turned on the tv lately…

I also have two dogs (Lucky and Soot) and Lucky eats Soot’s poo 😕 It’s only in the winter too (poopsicles?) The sheltie rescue I had until about a year or so ago did the same thing (first time we had two dogs, so it was a bit…. disconserting). Soot likes papertowel and tissues, used or not. We just try not to leave any out anywhere and keep him away from the small open trashbins in the bedrooms (we’ve been pretty successful).

Now is the pineapple thing needed for a while, or just until the dog gets the hint (2-3 weeks)? I’d like to try it!

I did it for a month and never had a problem again. I probably could have done it for only two weeks but I wanted to make sure I got the point across.
