Right now my thumb is very stiff and hard to flex and bend but it doesn’t hurt when i do so. The last two days it hurt when I bent it.

I would help but I am just to tired to get out of bed today~

Hope it feel better soon. I’ve accidentally bitten my tongue, the inside of my cheek, but I can say I’ve never bitten my thumb. 😆

Swollen but it doesn’t hurt when you bend it? 😕 Interesting! Okay, I confess that your thumb has me baffled. It’s giving us mixed messages here. Oh, for an X-ray . . . and a sports doc to interpret it. 😛

I haven’t the slightest Idea 😕 but it seems that Mr. Allmighty made me for other peoples amusement with my “lateluck” but I seem to hurt my self ( not seriously ) in the strangest ways, this usually makes my friends ltao, and say : “only Birta, only you”, in this incident I recall that I dropped the spoon and caught it with the previous conclution actually I could make a thread with only my mishappenings posting one a day till eternity 🙂

wow….I will remember to never come near you when you’re eating….. 😯

I doubt it’s broken though…cause you wouldn’t really be able to move it…..you might have bruised the tendon in it though….that would make it feel just as bad as if you broke it….
Not being ablt to move a body part when it’s broken is an old wives tale. My doctor told my mom mad I that after I broke my wrist but could move it. Every time I have broken a bone I could move the body part including when I broke my thumb. I do nto really think a bite from your mouth could cause enough force to actually Break your thumb. I was diving into a swiming pool and got too high so when I hit the bottom of the pool I had me arms extended and hit with a very hard force which broke it. I’m sure it’s tendons as mentioned before

I was eating with my father but he didn’t see it. He just looked at me funny when i cried out in pain.I figure that this makes me a genius in some way. I mean how many people can say they accidentally bit their own thumb. The odd thing is that it isn’t bruised or swollen. It just hurts really bad whenever i put pressure on it.

When you bruise the muscel or bone, it usually doesn’t bruise right away… sometimes the bruise will show up in a few days… or not at all. If it was broken it WOULD be swollen!!! In a few more days it should start feeling better.

Its almost like shutting your finger in a car door. 😯 OUCH!
I have also had my fingers slammed in a car door when I was about 4 NOT RECOMMENDED!
