I have photoshop and I can’t figure it out. I was looking at Windstone’s mousepads on their site and thats what Im talking about- where they bleed over the sides. I would really appeciate the help. 🙂

Website: courtneymooreauthor.comJuly 23, 2007 at 5:03 pm #602742I’ve made stuff on CafePress. I’d suggest you start here:
http://www.cafepress.com/cp/info/help/images.aspxthe Products templates page here is also very handy for getting a perfect ‘fit.’

Hope that helps! 😀
July 23, 2007 at 5:13 pm #602743SO, let’s see, mouse pads are 9 by 7.5. So, if the image is bigger than that, why does it not just fit the pad (theres still some white on the top and bottom)?? Or does it have to be “exactly” that size? (so that it doesn’t resize it wrong)

Why not download the template? That way there are no ‘what if’s. If you go to the product creation page as if you are creating a mousepad, below the image there is a link to download a 200cpi template. Use that, they really help!

My art: featherdust.comJuly 23, 2007 at 5:31 pm #602745Have you checked that the ‘image height’ drop-box is at the largest setting?
Don’t know what else to suggest. I tried uploading a ‘dummy’ image, and it’s giving me white borders I can’t get rid of either. 😕
Okay, I tried uploading a squarish image to see if I could ‘trick’ it, but it’s giving me white on all four sides and not letting me enlarge. I guess you’re going to have to e-mail CafePress because it doesn’t appear to be working right. I didn’t have this trouble when I made a mousepad in the past. 🙁
