It’s funny, because we as members feed the demand when the number of pieces gets low.
I was waiting until next month and then I saw how few were left….so I called for my credit card balance and it wasn’t as high as I thought, so I JUST BOUGHT HIM!
I must admit, special pieces I don’t own yet…make me very tempted to spend more that what I can afford and I pay off my “crebit” card every month….it’s almost like gambling..except you at least get a prize…
Wow, that went fast! Last night there were still 5! Funny how as soon as an SE hits a certain number, they sell out within hours or days.
I asked Susie for mine last night, thank goodness. 😯What caused the rush??? I wanted one, too, but have never gotten one. They have been in the store for a while.
I think once a post makes the scarcity of something generally known, it starts a frenzy. If this post hadn’t been made, I bet those 5 OWs would have hung around a while… 😉 Good for the factory! Bad for anyone who still wanted one and didn’t have $300 handy…I’m glad I got mine a while ago!

That’s what I was thinking. People see that and go 😮 “Oh noes! I have to get one right now!” And then they do 😆
I was tempted, but my empty wallet helped me to resist! 😛 😀 I ended up getting the gold ow a while back anyhow. 😀

I think you nailed it!! Those guys have been there since Windstone started selling LP stuff… what, two years ago? I think. Now that they are gone (as we predicted on another thread) everyone wants them. I’m sure the brown laps and scratchers, which have also been there forever… will stay there forever, until someone says “hey! only X many left!” and zoom, another rush! 😆

Well….I could mention that there are only 6 brown rising spectrals left… 😈 Plenty of brown scratchers, though. Why didn’t the scratcher get any love?
