Apparently we painted peacock dragons in ruby.

Did we paint peacock dragons in other colors as well? 😀

On a more serious note, it looks like possibly a melting ruby, if you are in to collecting those (all my rubies are melters, I love them!).

Heh, maybe she’s taking ‘peacock’ to mean the dragon is vain! 😆 😆

Almost every week I see people list random colored dragons as ‘peacock’ in the title. I’m thinking when they try to google windstone a lot of peacock colored stuff comes up and they just assume that’s what they’re called?

Melting rubies were painted with the old ruby paint. They are darker and much more ruby-looking than the newer rubies. Their paint will “melt” in water (turns water pink).

I figured that as well, that people think “peacock” is synonmous with “Windstone Editions.”

You should be okay, unless you like to take it swimming with you.

Did you see the dark peacock Oriental listed as a jade? (unless it was my monitor) Another ‘they must think that’s the name of the sculpt’. This was a few days ago, not sure if it’s still up.

I don’t swim or shower/bathe with them so I think I’ll be OK
