I was going to send them a message, but then I figured they probably already knew and were just trying to get an illicit buck. Anyway, I’m glad I didn’t – sounds like they’re getting enough reminders!

May 15, 2007 at 8:37 pm #577169I sent a message saying that she should probably add to her description that it’s a male and still retired and that it is only worth $150-$200 before someone thinks she is trying to cheat people out of their money and reports her… 😯 was that mean of me?
May 15, 2007 at 8:47 pm #577170So also who’d like to let this guy know that Windstone makes more than just Gargoyles, and how different a Griffen is from a gargoyle? Or did he just use the wrong picture?

‘Cause I thought I’d been looking at it and debating before my car broke down. Of course she could have more than one but….May 15, 2007 at 9:04 pm #577171The second auction is a relist of the same piece. The last time it was auctioned it ended with a high bid of US $152.55, but the reserve wasn’t met.
May 15, 2007 at 9:09 pm #577172That one was relisted because the reserve wasn’t met. 😯
May 15, 2007 at 9:17 pm #577173Ouch!! I’ld been starting to think that they weren’t generally going much higher than that!! It’s a good thing then that I hadn’t been able to bid!!
So guys what is the general price range to expect the Black Male Griff to go for?
May 15, 2007 at 9:27 pm #577174LMAO I also emailed her and told her it was a white male and worth 150 or so, BUT I hid my e-mail from her, LOL funny that she hasnt changed it thou.
May 15, 2007 at 9:42 pm #577175Yea it’s a little… odd that so many people have messaged her and that she hasn’t noted it in the description so that people know… Kinda makes me wonder if she is hoping someone will pay $700… hhmm.. I don’t think anyone that knows about SK would mistake that for one… especially when there is a real one up by windstone…

I actually asked LIH recently and she said “Average selling price for one in mint condition is $185.00.”
