Looks like there is no way to find out who did it either! Just by driving the truck away from the scene obliterated any possible fingerprints, I told the officer, well if I had known my wheels had been loosened in the first place, I wouldn’t be talking to you about it, it would have been fixed before my car got damaged. Duh!
Anyway, I’m SOL, but the upside is once I get the truck fixed, we have figured out how to keep this from ever happening again. We’re installing locking lug nuts 2 per wheel, and painting the lugs with lines that line up with the hub, if I check them and they aren’t lined up, then I don’t go anywhere and call the police immediately so they can get evidence.
Then retighten everything and go home.Kyrin
