…what gives with all the people jumping on her weight at the MTV awards? I’ve heard a bunch of people talking about how overweight she is and it’s become a source of jokes for late night talk shows. Yes, she’s not as toned as she used to be but I thought she looked darn good for someone who has had 2 kids in a fairly short period of time. The outfit was a disaster, anyway, but I didn’t think she looked “gross”.
I really am not a fan (of her music or life choices) but when someone showed me the clip I thought it was just sad. Anyone else think she looked like she was drunk or on drugs? Personally, rather that bashing her for how bad she was or how “overweight” I would think people in the industry would be trying to get her professional, medical help. She looks like she really needs some.
I never understood why people hated her so much… Sure she’s really screwed up, but at one time she was an extremely beautiful and talented person. *shrug* Not my kind of music, certainly, but still.
I have never, ever liked her, but even I had issues with everyone commenting on how “fat” she was. She is not “fat”. She is certainly out of shape compared to when she was at the top of her game, but you’re right, that was years ago and before she had two children in the space of a year. Weight-wise, she’s fine. None of those fat comments were right to me.
Now, if you ignore the weight issue, I agree with the critics that the performance was terrible. I did think she was drunk or high on something, she couldn’t even mouth the words along in time with the recorded song. The outfit, the lack of focus…ugh, I couldn’t watch it. I turned it off. She seriously needs some proper help, if not I’m afraid she may do something that she is not around long enough to regret 😕
I don’t think she’s particularly talented but she did have a niche before in the pop genre, it’s a shame she was lead to that performance, which was wooden and not ethusiastic at all. But the weight comments are just brutal – she looked FINE, it’s just the outfit she wore wasn’t terribly flattering and she was surrounded by aggressively-fit dancers, the whole thing was a bad idea :/
Not my favorite person in the world and I’m sorry but not as much talent as many say she has but it’s just the Hollywood way of life. You live your life under a microscope and you are bound to have a totally SCREWED up life.

Oh, I’m sure that if any of our lives were put under the media microscope that they would look just as screwed up. I know divorced people, divorced people with kids, people who do stupid things: heck *I* do stupid things.
I’m sure the media could make a spin out of anyone’s life if they’ve been doing any kind of living. Britney is really no different than the rest of us.
And I’ll agree that no, she’s definitely not fat! She ought to fire whoever told her to wear that outfit, and whoever choreographed her performance, though. Especially if she wasn’t on anything.
I’m not a fan, and I’m not surprised they called her fat, since she didn’t have a six-pack, but I am a little alarmed.
I never thought I’d see the day when I’d actually want to see a video of her performing, but y’all have gotten me curious. How can her outfit have been that bad?
Think about a bedazzled black bra and panty set that’s too small, along with fishnet stockings and heeled boots…oh, and even though it wasn’t part of the “outfit”, throw in a really badly-done wig or weave on top. It was bad 😡
Ugh…”bedazzled” is not a word to try and spell when you’re dyslexic and having a bad day!
I’ve seen the video and the outfit makes me cringe, even if it would have been worn by an uber skinny model!
As for people calling her fat, what have they been smoking? She looked just fine to me (physically, mentally is another story) She’s had 2 kids and is in her mid twenties. Personaly, she’s developed a few more curves, but thats what happens when you have kids and get older.
I just think it’s really sad that the world is so obsessed with peoples weight.

As to Brittany’s weight, I think people just want to pick at her for everything, and in a way I don’t blame them. She makes more money per day than most people make in a year and people look at her life choices and say to themselves, “she doesn’t deserve it.” But what people don’t understand as that they are the one’s giving it to her. If you don’t like her just don’t look.
I would help but I am just to tired to get out of bed today~
