Every hospital I transport to is over run with cases of the norwalk virus. My husband just came down with it and I fear I will be next. I’m sure its only a matter of time before everyone in the mid-atlantic region has it. So everyone WASH YOUR HANDS!! You don’t want to come down with this stomach bug 🙁

Do you know what the symptoms are? I always keep the hand sanitizer handy.

Its a 24-48 hour stomach bug. It causes nausea/vomiting, diarrhea, chills, and fever. I had it a couple of years ago and just wanted to die. It put me in the er on iv fluids since you can’t keep anything down. Right now its going thru all the local hospitals and nursing homes.

Yuck, hopefully it stays away from this side of the U.S.

I usually do not catch things but I had a very EVIL stomach flu but I’m better now. I wonder if it was a mild version of this

Is Norwalk like the flu? We just had the annual flu wave here in Switzerland last week. It’s dying down now.
