Drag0n, some people just have not so good teeth. My whole family is a perfect example. And my ex husbands son would brush twice a day every day and STILL get cavities. Maybe he ate too many sweets…. I dont know.. I do know that the dentist stresses flossing. Maybe try that? They can tell when you floss.

My mom’s dentist also recommends soft gum picks for after flossing. Little things like this can make a difference with how long your teeth last. Try to save your tooth, if you can, drag0n; nothing beats having your own teeth.

I’ve probably had a 10+ stretch with no dentist visit. I went to a dentist when I was a kid, then several times a couple years ago to fill some cavities when I had dental insurance. Haven’t been back now that I have no insurance.

I’m sure it’s going to be really expensive to save it. I wonder what will happen if I just get it pulled. Will me teeth start to spread out and get gaps?

Like WC mentioned, when my mother had a bottom back tooth pulled, one of the problems the dentist told her was the possibility of the upper tooth dropping into the spot now that it no longer had support. So they recommended her eventually getting a false tooth to fill it, which she hasn’t done yet. It’s hasn’t caused her any major problems… yet.

The dentist will probably let you know what your best options are. Good luck!
