It’s just like computers. If you want to run the latest and hottest stuff, you have to keep your system upgraded so that it is capable of running such things. Game consoles are the same idea- if you want to play the new games that come out you gotta get the console. I know there’s a dragon game coming out for the PS3 that I’d love to play, but there’s no way I’ll get a PS3 in the near future. Maybe in like 5 years when the price is reduced to $99!

Will the game work on a older PS?

Nah… gaming companies would much rather suck out your soul by making you buy a new console just to play one game.

Like what is probably going to happen to me with Zelda. *sob* Why can’t Wiis cost less? Then I could buy it just for the new Zelda game and not feel stupid when I don’t play anything else on it.

They said they were making a version of Zelda for the Game Cube…..Don’t know if that happened though…

Well theres one other thing to look forward to on the Wii. I thought of this one day in the bathroom…Harry Potter. With the Wii’s new controller it will be like actuially being a wizard (swish and flick) And the noise of the spell being cast would come out of the controller too. All they have to add is a voice sensitive headset and it will be just like cast a spell with a wand. Plus I checke3d and a harry potter game is slated for the wii. If they do it right it should be really fun.

I would help but I am just to tired to get out of bed today~

Hum, I was actually going to ask this a week ago but, if I was able to get ahold of a Wii who would want one? I do work at a store. I know how many we have and I know basically when we get them in. I can’t tell anyone else though. To drum up buisness though we are going to be giving one system away. Everyone hopes to win it of course and I know I wouldn’t be able to. I also can’t buy things from the store and sell them though ebay (or anywhere else for that matter)but to trade one? Maybe. But, I also can’t promise that I would be able to get one. Was that as confusing as I think it is?

I really want a PS3 but the first batch is always full of bugs so it’s just as well I wait unti they come down in price. My PS2 is busted so I kind of need an upgrade anyhow. I hae an XBOX too, but I never got a 360. I just don’t play them as much as I used to so I never got one. I really doubt I’ll get a Wii for myself. I’ll just use my boyfriends one =D

I hope I don’t end up with a bad system or something. That will totally suck

LOL Chessie! That’s exactly why my boyfrined wanted it so damn bad! I can’t say I’m opposed to playing the new Zelda myself though. The Game Cube ones really dissappointed me though.

They released the new game, Zelda: Twilight Princess for the GameCube and Wii. Are you talking about another Zelda game? I bought it for my brother for Christmas on GameCube. There isn’t even a huge difference in graphics since Zelda: Twilight Princess was originally designed to be released on GameCube, but they held it back months because they thought it would be nice marketing for them to release it with the Wii as well. Although, I’m sure you’ll have to get a Wii for all the future Zelda games. Unless they have another one coming out soon, you will luck out for awhile before you have to buy a Wii Chessie.

No, there was a Chibi one when he looked like a little kid. I hated that one. It rotted my teeth.

I cant wait to get my hands on the new wii, I am saving money on my card just for that, LOL. I have tried it and the motion sensitive controlers are so cool to use. To play a racing game you use the controller like a steering wheel, I think there is even an atatchment to make it look more like a steering wheel. I think the point and shoot games will be more fun with the aiming one the new controllers too. But I have always been a nintendo girl, never had a sega, or ps, I do have the psp though and I hate it, love my ds lite though.

Since the very beginning, about every other Zelda game has sucked hugely. The original? Great! The second? HORRIBLE! And the trend has continuned. So they’re very hit or miss.

I’m pretty sure (well, they USED to do this…) Blockbuster used to have gaming systems you could rent. You put a down-payment down (usually the cost of the console…$250 for a Wii for example) and you get to take it home and play the games you’ve probably just rented also. When you bring the system back unharmed, they give you the $250 back. If they still do that, I think that’s a better deal than buying one, if you don’t game often. I’m quite happy with my big fat PS2 🙂

Hoo! That’s a good idea! Just… rent it. Why didn’t I think of that?

The SO is playing Zelda on his wii-wii and it’s entertaining to watch him fight with the nunchuck. I’m not a fan playing Zelda, just watching it.
