Who else has one? I snagged one off ebay as a reward for myself for sticking with my exercise and weight loss efforts (even if it’s going so slow) and also got Okamiden to play.

I’ve decided that I’ll get myself another game every 10 pounds, so I’m wondering who else has one and what games they like to play on theirs?

      Suggestions plz!

Professor Layton is a “puzzle video game” series. Much fun!

I’ve had my DS like for like five years. I mostly just play the pokemon games though. XD

Oh, I also like Kirby games. >.> And New Super Mario Bros. If you like rhythm games, I loved Elite Beat Agents! So funny.

Are we related or something? I need another to a 2nd DS to transfer Zorark too. 🙁 I might eventually get the XL (I have a collection of gameboys) but not the 3DS. I tested one of those out the picture looks cool but the 3D makes me feel cross eyed

LOL! I play all the Pokemon games too. I bought my boyfriend a DS so I can use it to get the special event pokemon. I got Vincinti and Zoura already for Black and White using his DS <3 LOL!

I got Okamiden too, I haven't played it yet. I also have a few other games, but not too much has really impressed me with the exception of the Castlevania games and Mario Brothers ^_^

I’m usually pretty easy to please. I think Mario Brothers is as much of a given as Okamiden was, but I still have 8 pounds to go to the next game. I like Legend of Zelda for the Wii too, so if there’s something for DS in that vein, I might pick it up.

Tell me, what’s so great about the Pokemon games?

I have two ds(es? ‘s?)… an original and a lite. By far, Professor Layton would be my top recommendation. Also Elite Beat Agents is a lot of fun (I also imported the original game, called Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan Hey! Fight! Cheer squad).
Oh, and Henry Hattsworth! Tons of fun!

And I have every single Pokemon game ever made lol. I even imported Pokemon Diamond on day one of Japanese release because I didn’t want to wait for it to be released in america.

I have too many ds games to really remember them all. But the ones I listed are definitely my favorites.

Pokemon games are like a gateway drug! You think, “Oh, just one time, I won’t get addicted!” or you think “Really? It’s POKEMON, and I’m almost 30! I feel JUST SILLY!”

Then before you it, you find yourself sqirming impatienty in line with thirty 7 year olds on every new game release date talking about how you had to use 50 ultra balls to catch Rayquaza >_<

It's just SO ADDICTING!!!!!!! I can't explain it! LOL!

Guess my crappy little video game department store job will finally help someone other than the snobby customers that seem to stumble across me.

                            Casual games:
Nintendogs – take care of several puppies, earn money by competing in tournaments to buy them stuff. Disgustingly cute, shows off DS features very well.
Animal Crossing: Live in a small village with other “animals”. Make money buy selling fish, fruit and random items. Game links to date and time, so seasons change in real time and the flora and fauna change with it.
Club House Games: Cards and mini games, great for wasting time on a bus/train/plane.
Rhythm Heaven: Tap, slide or flick your stylus to the beat of the music and complete the challenge to advance. I think I have a demo copy of this game from Nintendo if you’d like to try it.

                            Action games:
Battle of Giants: Dragons – Customize your dragon with gems and fight others in order to restore the dragon kingdom
Battle of Giants: Dinosaurs – Pretty much the same as Dragons, but with dinosaurs!
Yoshi’s Island: DS – a re-port of the SNES classic. Ferry baby Mario, DK, Peach and Wario on a Yoshi’s back to defeat baby Bowser.

Puzzle Games: (I am not a fan of puzzle games, but I’ll suggest some I’ve played for the sake of input to my customers)
Professor Layton: Puzzle difficulty can range from brain-dead to smash your DS with a hammer, all three follow through an amazing story with even better characters.
Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass/Spirit Tracks: Sort of a puzzle/action hybrid, though not difficult, they can be tedious as is the norm with Zelda games. Always good plot, but usually weak characters.

                            RPG games:
Pokemon: I really don’t need to explain the premise of a game that’s been around for 15 years now. XD
Dragon Quest 9: Customize your own character and explore a rich world and its amazing story.

                            Happy gaming!
