Ok… I’ve been out of the loop since before Xmas. 😀 but I had a week off between Xmas and New Years… and well… I got cracking on some horses that SORELY needed to be finished off. 😀

Since I haven’t really posted pics of my horses before… I figured, what better time! 😀

Look at this cute little bugger! The resin’s name is Acorn, sculpted by Michael Lovejoy I believe…

And then there’s Pasha, sculpted by Sue Sifton… and Pedro, sculpted by Deb McDermott. I did them as an experiment together… Trying to get the color, Bay going Grey, right.

Pasha (below) started out with an “off white”… or “almond” base coat… whereas Pedro started with white primer… She still needs a few layers on her hooves and then final details.

Here is Sheryl Leisure’s Arab mare… Hart’s Afire I think… This one and Celebration below have been so close to being done (they only needed final hoof details and eyes! ) for AGES… they are FINALLY done! (they just need glossed eyes…)

I also have a PYO dragon finished… but I haven’t uploaded the pics yet. 🙁 And a PYO wolf or two who are progressing nicely. 😀 I’ll take pics of them tonight. ^.^

Really amazing. Each one is impressive but I like Acorn best – looks like a Clydesdale foal. Beautiful!

Did you use pastel on them, or acrylics? How did you get the circular patterns on Hart’s Afire’s coat?

I’m sure your wolves are coming along nicely, no need to rush them. I’d love to see pics of your dragon though 🙂

Beautiful!! Now, how long do they take, how many coats, what did you use, etc….?? The blending and finish are so smooth!! Lovely gray/white dapples too!!

Oh, and my fav has to be Acorn!! That sculpt looks so realistic to me, esp the neck ripples and coat texturing!
