I really like his fur. I concur with the other suggestions to antique him. I’d keep the antiquing just a shade or two darker on the fur.
So I antiqued him…and did a poor job of it.
I think he looked better before
Oh well.
His name is Charcoal. Partially because that’s the color of his main scales, and partially because he sort of looks like he rolled in charcoal because of the antiquing.

I had the same though about the travelling Kirin after I antiqued him so chances are he’s just lovely! 😀
😀 all my guys are going to be shiny unless I get over to Michaels and pick up a can of matte finish. I only have gloss finish spray.
I can’t stand a matte finish… so glossy! I love the color on his scales, and the blending in his mane.
