I agree. I guess that post made it sound like he bit a couple of times and we dumped him. Actually, my husband tried to work with him for months. He did tons of research. My husband doesn’t accept defeat well, but he finally decided we didn’t have the right environment or whatever to make the bird happy. The second pet store owner also had personal birds and he tried to work with him, too, without success. Maybe whatever the first owners did to him turned him aside from people. 🙁 If I had known you at the time, we would have made a road trip and brought him to you. Maybe all it would have taken was the “right” person.
Oh!! No worries, that wasn’t directed at you at all. I just saw people post several times about birds biting. Other than the noise it is one of the biggest complaints people have about their parrots– in general, worldwide. I know you did everything you could for your feathered buddy. 🙂

I actually love to hear my birds chittering, singing, etc. I could do without the earsplitting screams they let out at times, but it def. lets you know you are alive! 😆
