I think it needs a little darker blue and less pink on the tail. For me, the pink on the tail is overwhelming….Also, on the tail, you don’t have the scales on either side of the ‘crest’ the same color, one side is blue and one is pink. This asymmetry could be whats throwing me off. Besides that, I love it. I think the head is perfect by the way….
After a second look, I think it’s the asmmetry in blue vs. pink on either side of the tail crest that is throwing me. I like the blues you have, I take it back that it needs more, just balancing out the tail I think will do it…..for *me* anyway….

ROFLMAO! You are all way too funny and way WAY too nice! Thanks for the compliments everyone. I’m all bubbly Jennifer put input in too. hehe. As much as the pink draws the eye I don’t want a macaw dragon 😯
As for the tail, I just haven’t finished that part yet. Not really any of him is “finished” yet. Going over the orange, pink, and purple with a sky blue in between the armor scales is a bit time consuming and tedious so I’ve been hacking at the tail bit by bit. That’s why it looks the way it does at the moment.
I will try and incorporate as many suggestions as I can in the work I do on it tonight and tomorrow I will post some new pictures once the forum is back up and running Monday. 😀

Well, I worked some pink and purple into the neck crests, added tome white to the top of his head crest and evened out the tail for tonight. I also finished up the belly scales. Now I just need to add finishing touches and finish up his arms and legs and I think he’ll almost be done.
…of course now he looks more like a rainbow then a sunrise. Bah!
