PYO frog? Hippogriff? Oriental dragon? ANOTHER dragon? Hells to the yes!
Regarding size of PYO, I think the Keeper is the perfect large size. If you make a grand Pegasus, I’m sure quite a few people will jump at the chance to paint one.April 25, 2011 at 1:18 am #843398I would love the grand pegasus. His size shouldn’t be too bad, especially since he has a base. He would be a fantastic pyo. And I think as long as he has a molded cardboard insert like the keeper, I don’t think he’d be hard to ship. Just a little more expensive.
As for sizes, I would love to see a pyo about the size of the baby ki-rin. Something small that could be bought for cheap-cheap and finished quickly for those that don’t want to spend forever on a single pyo.
April 26, 2011 at 2:47 am #843513Personally I’d like to see the Grand Pegasus as…well not as a PYO. But thats just me.
April 28, 2011 at 2:37 pm #843841Flap cats small and large PYO . I’d love a PYO grand unicorn .
The cats I know would be very popular for people to paint or have painted like their beloved pet that are with them or past over . Well that would go for any pet lover and their pets .April 28, 2011 at 3:11 pm #843842All those sound so cool. Hopefully we’ll see some pics on the blog someday showing what’s in progress. (squeak)
I’d love a big grand pegasus to paint. But then again, all my pyos have been kept or given as gifts so shipping hasn’t been an issue.
July 26, 2011 at 8:30 am #852011Melody, I was wondering where you were in the new pyo stage? 🙂
July 27, 2011 at 3:14 am #852075I very much agree that a PYO Flap Cat would be wonderful for people who have lost their pets (they’re perfect, especially with the wings…it’s near impossible to find realistic “angel” cat statues out there, let alone customizable ones!) I’d love to have some Flap Cat versions of my cats and would love to give them as gifts to other cat-lovers I know.
So it’s a HUGE squeak from me for PYO Flap Cats!
July 27, 2011 at 3:05 pm #852103Just on size…I am very new here, but…I have gotten in a winged wolf, a keeper, and a griffon. So I have been very comfortable with the smallest to largest PYOs that are offered. But…since I only paint for myself and family (just waiting on more stuff to be in stock) I don’t know how doing a lot lot lot of pieces would feel…but I have LOVED the whole PYO experience…it has been wonderful…just waiting on a unicorn to come back in stock! 🙂 and I LOVE all the new ideas for PYOs large or small it would be a lot of fun! and I would pay whatever I needed to, to ship them…anyone would if they wanted the piece that much I would think…
July 28, 2011 at 3:49 am #852208i’m ok on any size 😀
are there any sneak peak photos?July 28, 2011 at 6:23 am #852217AnonymousYES PYO CATS PLEASE! *ahem* sorry.
All of those sculptures sounds scrumptious, but I think your best bet with the grand pegasus is to get Jennifer or Helen to paint Ebay pieces as well as offer them as PYO’s. I personally don’t have a workspace to fit such a huge sculpture and would be bound to drop it and risk chips flying soon enough.
My favorite size is the Keeper or in between it and the smaller ones. I found to have troubles with cramping hands holding the keeper due to the bulk, but I think he’d be the fattest of them all to come in that size as well as the one with the most underbelly to paint.
I like to stand back and enjoy windonstones as well, and the smaller PYO’s loose detail with that distance. I use almost as much paint for the small as I do the large because of minimum mixing portions and speed of use vs pallet drying time.July 28, 2011 at 4:05 pm #852239Big or small bring em on  especially new dragons! The grand pegasus sounds like he will be fun to paint, I enjoy a bit of a challenge. All of your sculptures are wonderful Melody so anything you do make as a PYO will be great, I think size will not be an issue for people buying if they really enjoy the piece (look at the big SK for example). A bit more shipping is a small price to pay for something you enjoy as much as people enjoy their windstones!
