New Pyo's

I did a new Kirin and a new Griffin…

the Kirin is black with silverish scales (grey and silver mixed)…and then interference blue all over the scales…

this was done for someone…but we’ll see if they like it first before it goes to its new home…

first ones are with flash next ones are without….

here’s the griffin…..black all over the body…pure silver wings….then coarse green interference on the body feathers…

silver beak and front feet…fine green interference on the top of the wings and fine blue interference on the bottom of the wings….and then a mix of green and blue on the claws and beak…with a touch of orange interference to make the beak look more beakish…

first ones are flash second aren’t….and it sucks because it’s totally cool looking but doesn’t show up in the photos…

Awesome job, as usual, Frozen!!! I especially love the griffin!!! 😀

They are both wonderful. The griffin’s body feathers look 3D; great antiquing: -)

the body feathers are just done with black and coarse green interference….no antiquing at all

I really like the kirin. The griffin’s wing looked chopped-off, but I like his body feathers a lot.

I think they are pretty! I cant decide if I like the ki rin or the griffin better, though.

nope….they’re still there…

like I said…the look totally cool in person….interference just doesn’t photo well….
