Thank you for posting the pic.

I am not on Facebook, and refuse to have anything to do with it for (very well backed up) personal reasons. That being said…

        Griffin? OooOOOooohhh!

        Windstone collector in remission. 😉

Take her to the vet and get her checked out, it could be a medical issue. They can also give you pills that can stop her from doing that. I had a cat that did that and the pills worked. Hope that helps.

Haha, ya’ll are silly. As for cats, the one I dopted from the humane society is gonna go back unless someone can enlighten me on how to get her to stop pissing on the bed.

The pills don’t always work though. Sugar was put on meds, and it seemed to be working, until I found pee all over my DVD’s again. 🙄 And, as much as I love my kittehs, I will not stand for destruction of all things in the house. As it went on from DVD’s to the love seat, to the bookcases to books, to the coffee pot…Ugh, even the microwave. Pfft.
Yuck. Ive been keeping the bedroom door closed. Since Pauls dog got here, she has been miserable in the house. Just spends the day hiding and growling. I have started letting her outside… she has taken to hanging out in the storm drain with several other cats. Neighbor says they are strays. I bet mine was a stray before I got her. That would explain the biting, scratching, and lack of clenliness. Dirtiest cat I ever owned.

Cats, in general, are clean animals. If your cat has no medical problems, it’s behavior might be being caused by stress. If it’s hiding and growling, it feels threatened. There are other articles out there, I just picked one. Cats don’t always react well to change and it seems you’ve had a bit of that lately…new baby, your husband home, another dog….

Your cat might have been a stray before, but it has the potential to be a good house cat in the right environment. Maybe you can re-home it? It might be a better solution for both of you, than just letting it go outside. The average lifespan of an indoor cat is much longer than that of an outdoor cat.

She is not hiding and growling, she is walking around growling… sometimes it seems like she is growling at nothing 😀 . As for the clean thing, she is not. She does not seem to notice she is dirty though after a month of being inside, she looked cleaner. I know folks dont agree, but I dont generally keep my cats strictly indoors. Bella is indoors because she has not been fixed, but the other two spend time both in and out. I Know indoor cats live longer, but they are not happier. At least mine arent. I have thought about rehoming her, but I feel guilty… like I said I would provide care for this cat and now am abandoning it. I’ll talk to the HS about it… maybe they have suggestions. Thanks for the links. I hope she adjusts, but she is pretty psyco.

Hubbys cat Casper is 16ish, he was a stray when hubby found him so dont really know his age, the cat has been with him longer than I have, and i fear what it will be like when he goes. I have a 15 year old dog as well and a 13 year old one, we could have a really rough time coming to us 😥 , I will be surprised if I have Ruffian, the 15 year old, past this winter to tell the truth, and then it will be a matter of seeing if Tonka can even live without her. Never again will I get pets close in ages it sucks.

Im so sorry to hear that 🙁 I wish you the best.
