New Kirin Color

Are the new color(s) of Ki-rins on the to-do list??

I think we voted for the white/pearl Ki-rins with sapphire eyes. But maybe that was just me! 😀

I think we voted for the white/pearl Ki-rins with sapphire eyes. But maybe that was just me! 😀 I’ve been trying to come up with a new color, but so far, I’m not happy with it. The prototypes are not done yet. I’m still fooling around with them. Kirins aren’t high on the to-do list.

I really like the silver one, the white looks too washed out for me. I liked the pink ki-rin color that I think I remember from Melody’s gallery…I think the silver is my favorite though. 🙂

A white and pink one would be neat! White fur, and a subtle light pink to the scales, as if they were translucent and you could see the skin color beneath.

And I don’t even like pink!

I adore that pink one in the gallery. I even think it goes well with the brown fur. I fell in love with that one even before I joined the forum…back when I won my first Old Warrior.

That transluscent shell-pink is a color I was imagining when I painted the Pink kirins.. I have the color in my head, but it is hard to make it so. I should photo all the test paint kirins I have. Showing stuff to you guys does help, although the colors are often hard to get across correctly.
The color of Ski’s pink dragon’s wings is close to what I was after..
