tee hee…I bought that one…
and I was thinking a darker brown edging on the big scales..
and a lot of white and gold…
I think me and Phoenix are stuck on the same brain wave…LOL
although it will be quite a bit diff…considering the brown is all over that keeper…
but still lots of gold….hehe… π
Like I said, Great Minds Think Alike! π
February 22, 2008 at 5:27 am #668279yup… π
February 22, 2008 at 5:28 am #668280I’ll have to get mine done before you get yours π
I’ll add some color to him… Green, some gold (not a lot) maybe some interference.February 22, 2008 at 5:30 am #668281cool….yeah green would look good…and a pearly white on the wings with green interference paint….
that would look really cool… π
I’m not putting green on mine…. π
February 22, 2008 at 12:16 pm #668282That red and blue Keeper really is bright. I wouldn’t antique him if I were you. His patterning busy enough.
I really like the look of that brown Keeper, though.February 22, 2008 at 1:38 pm #668283Phoenix, don’t change what you paint because it looks like someone else’s… You paint great stuff, and you do come up with it on your own. So even if some do have the same theme than someone else’s, it doesn’t matter. Yes, great minds think alike. That’s why some people like some things and not others. You like the same color than Frozen. So what? You rendered them differently, and they all look great!
And nope, I wouldn’t antique him either, and I can’t wait to see your brown keeper.
Read my books! Volume 1 and 2 of A Dragon Medley are available now.

http://www.sarahjestin.com/feedbacklists.htmFebruary 22, 2008 at 2:43 pm #668284I think it looks really great. I wouldn’t change a thing. It doesn’t matter that it looks like someone else’s. It’s bound to happen with so many of us painting.

I am working on a brownish dragon that looks a lot like the keeper bluepony is selling half painted…
I guess I’ll have to start thinking harder.
I just finished a brown keeper like that last week. Green eyes, too… π
