Today at 3:00 we shall have the Scratching Dragon available in Blue Morpho. I am not sure that the announcement went out correctly… I tried!
The Scratching Dragon has been absent for a long time – now we have them to match the Blue Morpho Lap Dragons that were added to our store last week. (and for those of you waiting for more Lap Dragons – they are on the list of things to do, coming up pretty soon)
I literally just got the email announcement in my inbox! Almost 30 minutes late. XD But better than the last time. He’s really lovely; I’m predicting this sculpt will run out in no time.
I got the announcement and saw you posted it hours ago. What’s up with feed burner these days?
He’s wonderful. Love the detail on his wings.

I already had one waiting in my cart – I was at the computer at work and thought “Hey why don’t I check out the Windstone website” – before I even got my notice.

I think these guys look even better in this color than the Laps (which I missed :() and the Laps were gorgeous. Hope my gold scratcher doesn’t get jealous.

I have to admit, if I wasn’t dead-set on wanting a lap because that particular sculpt just really appeals to me better overall, I might have considered getting this one instead. …I might still, if there is a second run later on in the year, if I have the cash to spare. (So many ‘ifs’!!)

They’re not sold out just yet, but I think that like the lap dragon, they may have made only 10. Currently there’s none in stock, which means at least one’s still floating in somebody’s basket, but I’d be shocked if they weren’t all gone by tomorrow. Let’s hope for a second run.Awe crap…. I was totally alone and bombed at work tonight and completely missed these. I was waiting for the scratches too. It’s been a long time since we’ve seen any new scratchers and I was all excited for the possibility to get one *pout* Missed the Laps too, but hopefully I can get one on the next go around.
Now I have to get an OW 0.o LOL! *crosses fingers*

The funny thing is when I first saw the scratcher sculpt years ago I hated it. Then I had started to fill out my collection and it was one of the few dragon sculpts I didn’t have, so I bought one in Gold. Well as soon as I opened that box I was in love. It’s now my favourite dragon sculpt followed closely by the Lap dragon (also an open box = swoon moment). I just think the scratcher has so much attitude, I love it.

I still don’t like the scratcher very much, though he certainly looks good in “Blue Morpho”. 🙂
I didn’t get the announcement until half hour after they went on sale. 🙁
Can’t wait to see the coiled dragons when they’re released. I wonder if they’ll do an OW?
Well mine must have flown himself here – less than a week to get from Corvallis to Edmonton.
