I painted yesterday, for the first time in ages, it feels like. Got my swap piece base coated, and finished off a gift dragon for a friend of mine.
This thing has interference color all over it, but today was overcast, so I couldn’t get a decent sunlight photo. I took one with the flash on instead.

I agree with Ski. The wing/scale color is quite nice… kinda sea-foamy to me in this pic. The overall coloring is very pretty too.

Silver? *confused* There’s three kinds of gold on there, but no silver, so I’m not sure what you mean.
On my computer monitor the wings and neck ruff look silver. They’re gold? Hmm.. *looks again*… they still look silver. Weird.
Ah. Interesting. They’re a very light gold, and it’s not a very good photo, so that probably has something to do with it. There’s a basecoat of forest green under the whole thing, so it gives a green tone to all of it.
Ah! That explains the green coming through. Nice effect. It’s weird that it looks silver to me though. It’s pretty, in either case. I just squint a little and try to imagine it gold and it still looks great!
