OMG! You’re way with words is incredible…Do you teach training classes? You’re writing is truly amazing and you told her story so well, but I mean… you really need to train my boyfriend to surprise me with Labrodite Lap dragons instead of dutch ovens 😆
Mirrako, you must tell me your secret!

Now I’m jealous! I need a Dutch Oven, but the only ones I can find for less than $100 are coated with that terrible nonstick stuff!

It took me the first two posts to understand where it was going to end up, but I’m so happy and flattered that you all love that lap so much. I’m very flattered that you’d write a story just about the dragon’s homecoming! How neat!!
I hope she brings you years of enjoyment!! 😀

HAHAHAHAHAHA *wipes tears from eyes* Oh God!….um….Jennifer….maybe the term “dutch oven” is different where you are but in New England a dutch oven is when someone farts under the blankets and pulls the covers over the other persons head and makes then embrace the stench :shout: :puke: It’s pretty awful…. are there such things as real physical dutch ovens?
But…. you just made me LAUGH MY A** OFF! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
EDIT: OMG! I just went on ebay and there ARE such things as REAL Dutch Ovens?!?!?! HAHAHA! Oh man… I needed this ALL DAY! Thank you Jennifer. I haven’t laughed so hard in years! 😆 😆 😆
(not to insult you or anything of course, it’s just my New England ignorance! I didn’t even know there was such a thing as a REAL Dutch Oven other then the HORRIBLE ones I’ve come to be surprised by every other morning or so)

May 4, 2009 at 3:21 am #763064HAhah!! I have been cooking a lot (well, that’s normal) but lately I’ve a bunch of recipes that call for being cooked in a Dutch Oven, so my mind was on cooking instead of.. well…. I should have known! I know what the ‘other’ Dutch Ovens are… LOL! My husband do that too, then it turns into 3rd grader tactics such as spitballs and thumb wars. We’re very immature…

My art: featherdust.comMay 7, 2009 at 3:17 am #763065ROFL! That’s funny. I’ve never heard farts being referred to as dutch ovens before. I thought you were talking about the cookware *imagines cast iron thing shaped like a roasting pan*. Your description of a dutch oven took me totally off guard. It reminds me of the one story my grandpa told me. He was staying over at someone’s house and there was this cat. At night the cat would come and pester them and attack toes. Finally my grandpa got fed up, stuck the cat under the covers and let a ripe one rip. I guess the cat was out of there so fast you’d swear someone was trying to kill it. Now the cat gives him wide berth when he’s there and doesn’t even like to be in the same room as him.
May 7, 2009 at 4:44 am #763066You’re not alone Jen…I was thinking cookware until I read Drag0n’s post! I forgot that was what it was called! XD *tapers off to giggles*
May 7, 2009 at 5:27 am #763067Welcome to the forum, Rage. Mirrako, you’re one lucky girl.
One small point of critique on the story, Rage. I’ll ditto the compliments, but maybe you could be more conservative in the use of ellipses. Having them end every second sentence acts like a sedative, at least to me.May 7, 2009 at 11:08 pm #763068Greater Basilisk wrote:Welcome to the forum, Rage. Mirrako, you’re one lucky girl.

Jen was the only one who actually said she figured it out right away. If anyone else figured it out earlier, let us know when, it would be fun to know.

CongratsThanks! We really don’t either, but he’s been saving for the 5 year thing (5 years as a couple; 2 years married). He is also really lucky on slot machines! I told him he doesn’t have to buy me anything more than a card and a rose until sometime next year. I think I’m still in shock, and have to go peek at the Lap to make sure it wasn’t all a dream. 🙂
