Yep, it did. Glad to see you on the forum! I was wondering when I saw Aurora, Colorado as your location. Wow, you managed to get the lab lap without Mirrako knowing. I’m impressed!

M’lady is now napping on the mantle, being zealously guarded by the gargoyle and hippogriff… Will have to see what her name is when she wakes up!
I’m shaking like a leaf, and trying not to start crying again! She’s the prettiest dragon I’ve ever seen… I’m having trouble typing. 😆

Everyone else–you’ve just gotten a glimpse of one of the coolest men on the planet. The crafty, crazy, devious, incredibly devoted love of my life, my husband, Richard (a.k.a Rage), who has been my anchor for the last (almost) 5 years.
Rage–if your boss keeps you late tonight, I swear I’ll send the OW’s to take him out! Your daughter and I are baking cookies for a serious celebration upon your arrival! :yes:
I think I’ve stopped shaking long enough to try to get some pictures, but the lighting is bad right now… Will have to add more to M’lady’s story over the next couple of days…

Thank you for the compliment. I am glad that you enjoyed her story. Do I write books? Not yet, but I’ve received a lot of encouragement to give it a shot, and perhaps I will. I grew up lost in the sci-fi / fantasy genre, and my library rivals the Aurora Public Library system. I’m sure you’ll hear more from me on the forum, if nothing else, and if ever a book comes my way, I’ll let ya know! Thanks again!

It wasn’t easy. She wanted to go out to eat, but I insisted on ordering pizza and having it delivered. Couldn’t leave the room as the bidding came to a close, now could I? 8)

Ha, I suppose not. Especially with so much competition for that dragon. I have to say from the conversation that we had that I didn’t think that you were going to go after it. I know that I would likely never be able to surprise someone like that. Good job!
