Okay, for those of you that ordered books, now that I’m back home I think they should hit the postal system next week sometime! Yay! Those that used Paypal should get a shipping notification.
Now, as many of you know, I just got back from a convention. I had a lot of new art I took with me! The biggest was a new piece I did of a phoenix…
More info and other photos here: http://nambroth.deviantart.com/art/Aurora-Phoenix-90676401
Make sure to see the video! π The painting is 11″ x 14″, but with frame it is closer to 15″ x 18″. I am reluctant to sell this one online; I think it needs to be seen to be appreciated. But I can’t afford to show it at most places. I’ll hesitantly say $800+ It cost me a LOT to make, and took over 5 months to do…Then just a whole bunch of originals, mostly freehand inks.
This piece is framed. Ink and marker. 9″ x 4.5″, double matted and framed to approx. 15″ x 8.5″.. would love at least $200 for it.
Ink and marker, very pretty colors. 9″ x 12″, double matted to 14″ x 17″, hoping for at least $230.
Ink and marker. 4″ x 6″, not matted. $70
Ink and marker, 4″ x 6″. I’m kinda attached to this one and I’m not sure if I’ll sell. >_>
11″ x 15″, watercolor, ink and acrylic. Would love at least $340 for it.
11″ x 15″, watercolor, ink and acrylic. Would love at least $340 for it.

Ink, marker, and a hint of golden paint. 9″ x 12″, matted to 14″ x 16″. Would love at least $250.
Ink and acrylic paint. 8.5″ x 11″, matted to 13″ x 15″. $185Unfortunately all of the above followed me home. I’m not sure if I just was unlucky at the art show/auction or if no one was interested, so I wanted to ask you guys… what kind of interest in purchasing these would there be…? o_o

My art: featherdust.comJuly 4, 2008 at 11:50 pm #720604I still love the wolf and panther, and wish I could snatch them from you right now…alas, car payments come first.
The Phoenix is amazing!
July 4, 2008 at 11:58 pm #720605Jen, I love my Husky and the book and my drawings. One day I’d like to break down and buy one of your feathers. I also like the panther. I guess the question is what are you asking for them?
and hey, you don’t have the feather prices up on your website either!! π
July 5, 2008 at 12:07 am #720606I too love the wolf and panther. It’s a unique style. I like the Spiritcaller too.
As for the convention, maybe it wasn’t that they didn’t like your style, but more that folks aren’t spending like they used to.
July 5, 2008 at 12:19 am #720607I like that second to last dragon <3
July 5, 2008 at 12:26 am #720608I really like the panther, the wolf, and the red dragon with the ravens.
That is a good question, how much are you asking for them?
July 5, 2008 at 12:34 am #720609Congrats on the Director’s Choice award, Jennifer. The Pheonix is awesome!
How big are the prints and what are you asking for them?
July 5, 2008 at 1:09 am #720610I love the wolf and the panther!
July 5, 2008 at 1:49 am #720611I’ve been drooling over the wolf and panther ones since I saw them go up on your DA page. I can’t believe they didn’t sell. π―

July 5, 2008 at 4:22 am #720614I love the wolf and the panther too. Would you consider selling prints of those two. I doubt I could afford the originals. π
July 5, 2008 at 5:06 am #720615I totally dig the panther… but like everyone else I’m broke…
July 5, 2008 at 5:28 am #720616Wow Jenn, that Phoenix is amazing…absolutely beautiful! I wish I could have seen it in person.
I bet transporting that one was not fun though, had to be a bit nerve racking.
I love it though.
