Really? How cool! We had a Red Factor (Phoenix) that was sold to us as a male, but never sang a note, so we figured it was a female. (S)he was beautiful, though. (S)he passed away recently. 🙁
January 21, 2008 at 9:54 pm #650608Update on the canary chick. 😀 He’s doing well. I had to feed him a few times but now everything is normal. The mother had started to pluck him but now he defends himself so she stopped that.
Today she started on a new nest but she still feeds her chick. The orange male canary will be the father this time for sure if anything comes of it. 😆
