can you do a DNA test for birds??

I don’t have to since it is getting more obvious every day that passes. And it would be to expensive anyway.

They had one, but birds don’t have good vision at night with the exeption of some species. It won’t happen again since the yellow-brown male and his mate are gone.

so are you telling us this is a ba$tard baby??

Do canaries go through a juvenile plumage that’s different from the adult plumage?

They do get a moult that makes their feathers brighter and more vibrant, for Canaries anyway some species only achieve their true color after the first moult.

What, did you kick them out b/c of the male’s mischief? 😉 😆

Goodness no! 😕 My boyfriend that is never home 99% of the time, had to reload the computer that happens to be in the same room as the birds, threaten to throw that particular bird out the window if he did not stop signing. Since this was not the first time he told me this and this time he said he meant it, to protect the bird, I gave him and his mate (did not want to seperate them) to the petshop owner. 🙁

Finally! I’ve been trying to upload a short video of the chick’s progress and I was having problems with it. Here it is.

How awful you had to give the pair up!
I just love to hear my canary sing!

I would think that’s the reason to have a canary. How weird! 😕

What a beautiful little prehistoric baby. I’ll always have a special place in my heart for canaries. We had a little red factor female for a couple years that was the light of our lives. We were so devastated when she died.

That’s awful to get rid of two canaries for a boyfriend who’s only there 1% of the time. 😡

I’m sorry to say that I would have kicked his a– out the window. I don’t take cr-p from anyone. (Except customers and bosses)

Unfortunately it’s his house… and finding a place for me and my son is proving to be more difficult then I thought. 🙁

😆 Well, okay since you asked…. just kidding. I’m very protective of animals if you didn’t notice by now… (the same applies to friends and kids to a lesser degree)

I’m sorry Blackdesertwind that you are having that much trouble. It must be frustrating.

Chicks are cute. I can’t have any birds, well, if it were up to my allergy specialist I wouldn’t have anything…. no pets, no dust collectors so on 😆 I’m so happy I’ve never listened to the guy. (I might be able to breath if I did listen but, I wouldn’t be happy)
