HEY BT one more thing … you might try us on repairing the ones that don’t .. make it. i know myself, and from what i have seen quite a few others on here would be more than happy to offer up on buying a bodie to repair. okay enuff chatter i need more than 2 hours of sleep before work so i’m heading this sorry butt back to bed (apologies for poor punctuations reallly tired had to put my 2 bits in tho)
and thanx BT in advance, for what, for me may have been the most fairly priced deal i’ll get on a emerald any time soon. i’m drooling and crying over the others for now, can hope some will be left for layaway later when you start it, if you do (hint hint) lolMarch 3, 2007 at 4:06 pm #546754It’s all good. Everyone has an opinion, it’s a take what you want and leave the rest type of place, like any forum. π
As I said, I most certainly will buy from you and Tina again, Bob. I just have a hard time affording what I want, but it is retired, and I am far to lazy to spend what little time I get off of work (2 jobs suck) searching and calling people to find out about Windstones, when half of them have no clue what they themselves are talking about. π
Everyone has to make a living, we all jsut do it in different ways. π
P.S. Thanks again for my young brown…He is all warm and fuzy with his momma and daddy and hatching sibling!! π (I just can’t say it enough!)March 3, 2007 at 4:21 pm #546755Yay i just won a baby Ki Rin π about $42 musch less than i was going to pay. She was on the UK ebay, i can only buy things from there and shops over here most of the time. Someone was bidding from the states, sorry if you are a member but i felt the Ki Rin needed to stay in the UK and you have plenty of them over there lol π
Windstone collection now totals 3 in a few weeks, i’ll make it more soon enough π

OK that one made me laugh almost out loud at workMarch 3, 2007 at 5:18 pm #546757bt , i highly recommend putting up a scratch n deat bargain basement! it sounds like you get enough damaged stuff yet there are plenty of peeps that would happily take a damaged piece, either to leave as be, or to try to repair. that way you can unload damaged stuff and still get some money back on it and people that otherwise probably wouldn’t do business with you- due to limited budget-would now buy up your junk! sounds good to me! i’d buy your junk! lol!
March 3, 2007 at 5:26 pm #546758I am trying to get everything listed now. After I am done with the Mint stuff I am going to start listing the broken stuff in its own section. I am thinking about putting Best Offer on most of it. If the kids are well behaved, I might get everything on by tonight or tomorrow.
March 3, 2007 at 5:28 pm #546759that actually sounds like a good idea to me. I’m not creative enough to rpr Windstones myself but I know there are a number here that are. You can just post them in the flea market section here and it’s 1st come 1st served
March 3, 2007 at 5:30 pm #546760sounds GREAT

Your welcome. I know it is hard to make a living…so you might as well do something that you love. I have bought many emerald peices from you and I love that they have that extra love and care that goes into packing them and make sure they arrive safely even if I have to pay a higher price. It gives me a great feeling to know that I get something that makes me happy but I help the person that is selling it. I know that there are times when I can’t afford Windstones so it does make it harder for me to purchase, but with patience I will eventually find that peice again.
I was also thinking that maybe you could sell the broken peices to people here. You never know what people can accomplish with lots of hard work.
That is my 2 cents anyway. π
March 3, 2007 at 9:22 pm #546762Hee hee sorry, i did actually want the Ki-Rin as well π

OK that one made me laugh almost out loud at workMarch 3, 2007 at 9:54 pm #546763Hey, I just had the chance to read though this thread (been busy painting these darned griffins!) but I wanna say that I’m totally impressed with how cool everyone is being- money is usually a hot topic and everyone’s been real civil!
Dragonkeeper/BT, I think what you’re doing is totally cool. I’m of the opinion that with luxury items like this (essentially art!) that if someone can’t afford it, then they can’t afford it! I only start feeling bad when folks can’t afford necessities (rent, food, gas money, etc). Saying “but I can’t afford it!” for a collectible is kinda like a child stomping their feet at the toy store because they can’t get that new $800 PS3. π I can also appreciate the sentiment of not wanting to feel like you’re ripping your friends off- as an artist I always feel bad about my prices when a friend buys my work (“Oh… I should have given them a discount”), but at the same time… I need to be able to pay my bills too. It’s a rock and a hard place! But I appreciate that you are so honest, up front, and passionate about what you do. I think we’d all feel much worse it if was some jerk just looking to make a buck. That’s not the case here. π

March 4, 2007 at 2:43 am #546766Ok, so if you have not seen it yet, I posted some damaged windstones in the flea market.
