I’m sorry for your loss. Wish I could give you a big hug!!

P.S.- my hunny’s family on his dad’s side all live in Tobermory, we’ve driven through Wiarton too many times to count.

My aunt used to work for the cheecheemon! She lived in Lions Head. Most of my family comes from Colpoys Bay, Wiarton, and Owen Sound. One of my co-workers sons lives in Wiarton. She goes every weekend. So have you been to Colpoys Bay? It’s very beautiful.

Cool, Lorance’s mom works on the Ferry too, she’s chief steward now but she used to run the gift shop. Her name is Michelle Haynes. She’s moved to Meaford now but his Dad, Don Smith and most of his side still live in Tobermory.

I haven’t been to Colpoys Bay. I’ll have to ask about that. I love all the old Victorian houses in Wiarton but I hate to see the one on the left as you first drive in, everytime we drive through, it’s in worse and worse condition. I’d love to buy one of the houses that big, at those prices but plunk it down right in the middle of Toronto, cause I’m never going to find something that big here for a reasonable price.

be strong, this’ll all work out, be there for your mother, she probably needs you, I don’t mean to sound cold, but that’s how Icelanders are, have faith and trust in God, he will send help in times of need, we’ll be here too…

        …just be strong

Thank you. It’s alright, you don’t sound that cold. I’m much better today than I was. Seeing the ob set me off. Just to get by that funeral. Sigh, I do hate funerals.

I know. Some of them are just gorgeous too. I don’t think I would want to move there anytime soon. Even visiting for more than a day has me bored to death.

Would it be bad form to wear a pale gold blouse to the funeral? It’s not bling bling gold it’s a light tan gold colour. Really pretty. The other blouse I was going to wear was burgandy, if only it wasn’t doing that embarrassing bulge thing. Even though I would have another shirt under it. I don’t think I would be able to wear it knowing what it’s doing. 😕

I don’t know the customs in america but here it’s mostly black and white, black and colour should be ok as long as it’s not a bright flashy colour.

As far as I know the custom in the U.S. is also to wear black/white to funerals.

The funerals I have been to lately it does not seem to matter what you wear as long as you show up

            #622503

Yeah, actually. I think you are right. But, subdued colours are probably better.

I know this is out of topic and totlally out of moral, but, every time I see DragonMaster’s name on screen, I hear this big voice inside of me talking the words he is writing, only one that has a voice in my head…

              … No… please… out of my…. heeeead

Hey, I have the same thing happen to me all the time at work. Oh wait, it’s the pager system. But, some day’s I’m like, make the voices stop. The pages are so loud, and they are annoying. I’m surprised the customers don’t complain.

but really, I’m a normal person, who hears DragonMasters voice in my head, sounds like Louis Armstrong, I’m not really mentally ill, just a slightly misunderstood woman, who cannot express her meanings properly, in english or icelandic….

… oh… pager sistem 😆 those voices, I’m an idiot hahaha, didn’t get that one till too late

                  #622509

I didn’t think you were mentally ill, really. And I think you express yourself just fine. 🙂 I’ve grown up with english and still find myself unable to express myself right.
