I’m sorry to hear about all your misery, RD. It does seem to never end. Hope things get better for you soon, and your mom is feeling better quickly. I’m sorry about your uncle, and your sister. Sometimes there is only so much you can do. *hug*
Btw, teachers don’t know what’s going on unless you tell them. They are told to let students know when there are a lot of absenses, so she/he was just doing her/his job. Even if she knew about everything, she/he may still have to warn you, according to the rules of the school. Sorry to defend the teacher, but I am one, and I know how hard it is to figure out the lie from the truth. Which students are full of it and which students are having rotten luck and are doing the best they can.
I know, I still pulled off a 97% in his class. So I really didn’t care. I missed more classes in grade 12 and was on the honor roll. So, watch the absenes didn’t bother me any. (I had the admin at that school wrapped around my finger. But, really I was a good girl, there was always darn good reason why I missed school.)

October 3, 2007 at 3:05 am #622485Well, the coroner has finally released him. He’s now in Wiarton. So the funeral will be on Friday. So Thursday I’ll probably be headed up there. No internet so if I disapear don’t worry.
Saddly, the investigation will still be ongoing.
October 4, 2007 at 11:37 am #622486Finally an obituary. Well, this finally makes it feel real. Even though I know He’s gone, it’s just so hard to believe it. I’ve decided not to go to the viewings today. I’ll head up to Wiarton tomorrow. I just can’t afford a hotel right now.

October 4, 2007 at 1:32 pm #622487I’m sorry for your loss. Wish I could give you a big hug!!
P.S.- my hunny’s family on his dad’s side all live in Tobermory, we’ve driven through Wiarton too many times to count.
October 4, 2007 at 1:35 pm #622488Im sorry, too. I have never really lost someoe that close to me, but I do know that time heals all wounds. I hope you have a nice keepsake or something to remember him… it will probably make you feel better when you are down.
October 4, 2007 at 2:48 pm #622489Thanks guys, I’m alright, and I’ll be better soon. No worries. It just felt like a horrible continuing bad dream before, now it’s real. So, at least I’ll be able to get over it. Just have to face that funeral.
I’m all in a tizzy right now. I’m going through the “I have nothing to wear!” thing. I have a beautiful blouse, but, it’s slightly too big and rides low. So I bought a shirt to go under it. Now the blouse bulges. Everything in stores right now are made for late fall and winter. Too warm. I’m going to go get groceries then I think I’ll be frantically shopping for something to wear.
(If no-one has noticed, I like to get people laughing. I’m not a clown about it, I’m very suddle about it. And yes I’m trying to get a laugh here, even if it doesn’t look like it. 🙂 And don’t worry if you don’t find it funny. I realise my sense of humer is screwed up right now.)

October 4, 2007 at 4:48 pm #622491Hey, whatever helps you through this RD! Smiles are good, we need more smiles 🙂 Keep hanging in there!
(ps. I did find it funny 😉 Don’t we all have those “nothing to wear!” moments at just the worst possible time?! 😆 )

My aunt used to work for the cheecheemon! She lived in Lions Head. Most of my family comes from Colpoys Bay, Wiarton, and Owen Sound. One of my co-workers sons lives in Wiarton. She goes every weekend. So have you been to Colpoys Bay? It’s very beautiful.
October 4, 2007 at 9:17 pm #622494Good luck all the way around
