πŸ™ If hugs help, you can have all of mine. *sends a hurricane of hugs* Here, give some to your mom, too. It can only get better from here.

I am so sorry. I had a relative commit suicide and it is so horrible. On top of the grief there is feelings of guilt (could I have done more?) and anger at the person (and then more guilt because you feel angry). If at all possible I would recommend grief counseling specifically for loosing someone to suicide. It does help.

I’m so sorry to hear about that. Ouch. It seems to come in slews. Not in threes. One year I had 5 funerals to attend (all relatives), I lost two cats, almost lost my mother, a wedding I couldn’t attend, almost lost my sisters to an accident while they were at the wedding….. this was when I was in grade 10 or 11, oh yeah I also broke my humerous (split from the elbow to about half way). And on my report card from one teacher.. “Watch those absences.” πŸ™„

I’m sorry to hear about all your misery, RD. It does seem to never end. Hope things get better for you soon, and your mom is feeling better quickly. I’m sorry about your uncle, and your sister. Sometimes there is only so much you can do. *hug*

Btw, teachers don’t know what’s going on unless you tell them. They are told to let students know when there are a lot of absenses, so she/he was just doing her/his job. Even if she knew about everything, she/he may still have to warn you, according to the rules of the school. Sorry to defend the teacher, but I am one, and I know how hard it is to figure out the lie from the truth. Which students are full of it and which students are having rotten luck and are doing the best they can.

Well they say “What doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger.”

My question is, how strong can one person get? I mean come on now! When does the poopoo stop and a person can relax for half a day? Geez! πŸ˜‰

Again, I really hope that things get better for you!!! {{{HUGS}}} πŸ™‚
