that is what i thought, I found a few websites that cary it. what does the stuff you get come in? a paint can or a spray can?

Well, since getting my emerald emp, I’ve fallen madly in love with the emperor sculpture, and now want him in all the other colors (they’re like drugs… I got one, and now I can’t stop wanting more!). I can’t decide which color I would want the most though now that I have emerald (my absolute favorite still). Do I want white over gold? Gold over white? Peacock over white? I just can’t decide, I live them all! So all the emperors get the #1 spot 😀 (although it will probably be years before I have enough spare cash again to buy another.. But that doesn’t really bother me, so long as I have my emerald one, I am not disappointed)
I need to take a good pic of my emerald emp to make into a siggy pic. I’m like, the only person on the forum without a siggie pic…

I know you can get it from some autobody shops. They may have to order it special or mix it for you, not to mention the cost, but they should have access to it. Candy Apple Red paint is cheaper (I think) and is $50+ for a little pint of it! Reds are generally more expensive automotive paints anyways.

Exactly. This was some that was given to me by an uncle that used to be in the business. But I’m sure you can get it at auto body shops. It’s stupidly expensive though. 😕 That’s why Windstone only sprays it on really special pieces. It’s wildly expensive to use!!

I do! These are not color corrected or anything, just snapshots…. it was about 105°F out when I was taking them so I was doing it as fast as I could! Gah, I’m ready for this heat and drought to break….
The 3/4ths view is a little misleading. The purple areas are a periwinkle blue (almost purple but not quite) and the green is more of a spring green than it shows. The blue is a more oceanic blue than, for example, the blue used in production Peacock colorations.

I usually take them out on the back deck… there is no one that can see me out there except for the birds and squirrels! 😆
Though I do wonder what the neighbors think when I take them out front to blow the stray leafing off with a can of compressed air…

I’d have to say my favorite color combination is anything that looks like Autumn. That’s why I love the Autumn Leaf OW so much. An Emperor in Browns, Oranges, Golds, Russets, with a touch of Green… oh, so pretty. That would be my dream. (I still love my Gold Emperor though… hear that, Midas! Still love ya!)
