I will see what I can see for Red Fire. Black Gold will probably be easier to find, there are some in the Windstone store now. BVP is a limited production color so unless you buy second hand from someone, you’re only going to find them in the Windstone shop… ‘n they’ve only released a small amount so far, but they’re working on getting more done…
Lap dragons and Scratching dragons are going to take a while to get back in store, due to a prob with their pewter horns (Windstone isn’t able to get them made right now).. of course these two are two of m faves ;p lolIt’s okay lol, like I said I am considering my options but I really like the black vp but I will wait and see what I can get when the time comes. Plus I have to discuss the options with my partner to see which he thinks will be the best option for our collection. As you all can see I am not really that pick about the colors just the particular dragons lol though I love them all in each and every color just can’t. Afford to get them all.
I feel ya! My collection has taken a direction of growing that I can’t sustain for long ;p in the last month (Give or take a short while, lol) my collection went from 0 to 5 (PYO dragons included) with another 4 pieces in the works to get to me XD ‘n I am still actively trying to find grab baby uni’s that people would like to sell.. and trying to figure out how I might swing one of those grab bag poads that’re going to release next week… lol… Be careful with this site 😉 these people are great at enabling! hahaha.. Had I not gotten involved with the forum I’d only have my GB Uni and a dragon.. ‘n be content with that, but once involved here, it pulled me in more! lol.. I love it though 😀 The people here truly are amazing!
A hatchling and Fledling. I am looking for certain dragons like Emperor, Mother, lap,old warrior, young and male dragons. Thanks for the help oh and they don’t have to be in Red Fire though it would be nice, but I will take Black-Violet or Black gold as well.

Hope it helpsLol, yeah I am already falling in, I mean I been looking at various colors and learning more information about what’s constant and what’s limited edition so it helps. I like knowing the various types so I can build my collection. I am considering a pyo for my sister in law phoinex statue in a gradation from light yellow to orange and red then down into the deep garnet,emerald,ruby,sapphire,amythest and ending tail feathers in black. She a huge phoinex fan so I thought this would make the perfect birthday gift for her this year. As for me the dragons are my favorite I love all the tones just to have a small family collection would make me happy that way I can pass it down to my Childern possibly thinking of getting the copper dragon for my mother.

I hadn’t even known about Production pieces, Limited production pieces or ebay pieces until I saw Melody on DeviantART (I’ve been a long time Windstone fan, just never bought one for myself for some reason, lol)
Once I saw Melody on dA, I realized the wonders of ebay pieces… then once spending time on here, I realized the difference between Limited Production and Production… and gained a greater yet respect for ebay pieces (Those pieces can go for insane amounts of $$ lol) I’m really having so much fun with it all! 😀 I’ve also greatly gotten into the Grab Bag’s! and getting into the PYO’s!
Most all of the dragons tell you which color is production and which is limited production (LP) in their item description.. Silly me didn’t realize silver was an LP ’til someone pointed out the advantage to reading ea item descirpt for the colors, lol (You may look into Silver as a contrast color as well? you can see here how well they look side by side: http://windstoneeditions.com/forum/show-your-collection-v7-2012?page=1 )There are a ton of wonderful artists here if you want someone to paint you a PYO! I have a dragon that was done from a forum member, and I LOVE it.. my bf has a dragon from the same forum member also, which is a stunning dragon as well! So you may go wander through the PYO section of the forum if you haven’t already and take a peek at what people have done! and look in the trade section to see if anyone is currently taking paint commissions in trade for a blank PYO (You send them two, they send you one back painted)
They do make great gifts, the two dragons between my bf n I were our anniv gifts to each other 🙂I thought we had it sorted out? Didn’t olimpia paint some RF things when she came to visit? And it turned out that before, we had just been using the wrong bottle of stabilizer? Or something… PS was using some of the RF color in her test paints.
PS used up our remaining supply, we have been unable to get more.
Ack! So much information to download into my brain.lol though I am enjoying the learning experience, though I did not know melody was on DA I am a member so I will have to add her to my watch list. I am unsure about the raffles and quest I don’t know how thw would work on here. However I think I will be just fine here looking into new items for my collection like the Black Vp collection since it is limited and would look great with my current collection.
Melody usually has a raffle every month. Special Windstones are given away for free, all you have to do is send in your name when she announces the raffle – in her blog or on here – and she draws one name from the entries. The February raffle is not up yet.
The Quests are games with Windstones as prizes. They have their own section on the forum. The current game is a Scavenger Hunt – details are under the Quest section.

When a raffle is up Melody will probably announce it somewhere on the forums. The raffle info itself shows up on the Blog (Commuity > Blog. Right under “Forums”)
I forgot to mention them! XD You can win a raffle only once, unless you give away your prize or sell it and give the proceeds to charity. But you can win several Quests… They’re fun! I caught the very end of the last one, and am having a lot of fun with this one! 🙂
Okay umm I have two small issues, one I know theirs a possible raffle going on or possible about to how do I enter that? And how does the quest work do I look for the clues in forums or pictures I the forums cause I am kinda lost being I want to put my hat in the ring but I am not sure how at this point in time. If any one can explain or point me in the right direction I would be super grateful.
