I started all these PYOs a long time ago, but they were not coming out how I pictured. They had been sitting dormant for the last month or so until I decided to try to do SOMETHING with them. The orange dragon looks dingy to me, the wolf…well… i dunno about him. Maybe just too plain? And the ki rin kinda looks ok, but I am debating on redoing his sides. The interference does not really look to great to me. I could use a bit of advice, and I know they are not that good, so feel free to be blunt…and follow with how I might fix it up. 🙂 kirin

dragonKirin…I agree with changeing the side scales. I would go black plain or black with gold accents on the ends of each scale. The fur has so much life to it…the scales should be simple.
Dragon… Looks amazing! At most I would think about orange or yellow interference on the pure orange scales. But really…its wonderful already!
Wolf… I actually think the body is great as is. I would paint the nose black, bu otherwise its nice. The wings… right now they start off looking chalky and then end up just looking dirty. I would really start fresh with a cream/beige basecoat and give them a hawk pattern with the same dark browns as the body. Then give just a HINT of gold or orange interference.
That is just my opinon anyway.
I agree with all of whippets comments. I’d be interested in the wolf after you brighten him up a bit. I like his coloring.
I like the dragon a lot. I think I’d just brighten his pink scales, maybe with iridescence, but other than that, I think he’s cute.
Ok, here is the kirin. I think its a bit better. I will do something with the wolf. Def change his wings. I think the pics of the dragon must not be too clear. I think he looks almost as bad as the wolf! He just looks dingy to me. 😆
The Kirin is a lot less busy now. Are its hooves black, too? (The black should pop up elsewhere, and I think I see black hooves, but I’m not sure.) I do like the rainbow iridescence – and for once the pink eyes are a perfect match! 😛
Thanks! Yes, the hooves are black. I was thiking of doing them silver, but it would probably be too much. It looks better now. He was the best of the three, though… its the other two I am dreading. 😕
The dragon and KiRin to me look basically done. I particularly like the dragon. I think it’s the pink eyes on the KiRin that are throwing me off. The wolf needs a bit of something done with that grey part on the shoulders and the wings. Maybe some highlighting in the face. Not much left to do though. Kudos for gettin g back to them though. I’m HORRIBLE for doing that!!!!
LOL! I still naver picked back up on that rainbow griffin or the grey and brown one. I think it’s been like 4 or 5 months now, hehe. Nevermind I have like 4 or 5 wolves that I never finished either.

We need like a PYO exchange program to trade off the ones we started and now hate.I think the Ki-rin looks better. I can’t seen anything wrong with the dragon. Behind the wings is what is bugging me the most on the wolf.
