I’ve started work on my first hippocampus. I wanted to do red/oxblood and grey. I’ve done the horse to look like it’s made of stone, and the mane is based on Candy Cane Coral. She’s got a long way to go, but I’m pleased with her progress today.

A couple more progress pics – I’ve added more highlight to the mane in the form of both white and russet metallic paint. The hooves have metallic paint now as well as a white stripe at the top.
